  • Between Identities

Anyone who takes a looks over the capital of the Republic of Moldova inevitably notices that poverty is not the only problem in the Republic of Moldova. Many symbols point to the ambiguous identity of the country and leave the impression of a divided society. An imbalance in the political orientation of Moldova is evident. Similar to Ukraine, a pro-Russian and a pro-European camp split the country. In this uncertainty, traditions of the past provide an apparent hold. The view into the future promises a no less wobbling stability and leaves the hope of a continuation almost vanishing.
